A Kitchen with a nice outside view

Feeling the comfortable morning sunshine through the kitchen windows, you will enjoy the time preparing for the breakfast table.

You may want to open a window slightly to hear birds singing lovely songs in the fresh morning air.

Would you like such an open kitchen?

A wooden cabinet in the classic color of dark brown.

No hanging cupboard was planned as to provide enough clearance around your head so that you could enjoy the comfortable open space.

Both the clean countertop of granite in light gray and the kitchen walls coordinated with a color scheme of white brings you a fresh feeling.

Satin-like kitchen faucets greatly match the stainless sinks framed with granite countertop.

The faucets include a shower head and a soap dispenser.  You will feel pleasure when you wash the dishes.

Oh, I must tell you that the material of the faucets is designed to resist fingerprints and water spots which is another great feature of them.

Also I can tell you that an oxidized silver finish is selected for the material of the cabinet’s handles, and they match well with the satin-like faucets. It’s a tasteful design concept.

Designing by freely creating combinations of various components and materials freely is very important to achieve excellent results.

But usually it’s very difficult and people give up.

Only Home Made, who is a direct importer of foreign houses, can make it possible.

A Natural and Open Bathroom

It’s nice to find a neat washbasin in the shape of a white bowl on a wood
bathroom cabinet.

The cabinet is made of straight-grained board from light oak timber.
It’s designed to diminish the strong characteristics which is usually seen in oak
products.

And, what is unique is that you don’t see any cabinet doors which would be used
in normal designs. We intentionally omitted the doors for displaying towels and
bathrobes on the shelf.

It's also interesting to know that the faucet has been fitted with an optional
pedestal to adjust its height to the deep washbasin. That contributes to you to
the faucet standing in a tall and relaxed arched form.

Soap dishes, hand towels, and some other items, will all be put on the counter of
the cabinet.  By coordinating the color and design concepts into the items, you
will be able to have a unified and stylish-feeling space instead of an image of disorganization.

Looking at such an open designed Bathroom as in the photo, everyone will be
aware of the owner’s good taste in their sense of coordination, and the laid-back
life style which can be enjoyed there.

Behind the cabinet, beige-colored mosaic tiles are put on the wall until
waist-high.  This achieves good trading of color change from the design
point-of-view, and at the same time the tiles work to protect the wall from
splashed water.

Finally, the mirror on the wall is provided with a round frame in dark brown, as
if to appeal itself in the room.

People who look at this mirror will feel an aesthetic appreciation of the selector.

An Asian Vanity Room In the City

The vanity room is on an upper floor and affords a fine view.

On this side, the design of a bathtub matching the vanity is in view.

The vanity at the back by the window gives an Asian atmosphere by using a cabinet made of slabs of an Oregon pine and a thick beige counter.

Don't you think it has become a peaceful and sophisticated design you can find in a cool room in the corner of New York?

Bringing a straight figure into Asian simplicity has adopted an urban element well.

Its use of colour, using only 3 colours such as beige, brown and dark brown has also brought about the stylishness.
It's the work that you only get from a professional coordinator.

Unique bathtub for Japan

in Japan It’s normally sepatated into bathtub, washroom, sink and dressing room.
On the other hand, people in Western countries concentrate them in one place.
Is it rationalism?

For example, Look at this picture on the above.
It’s takes the traditional-room design concept.
This room provides 2 Pedestal, bath-tub and toilet seat with abundant space.
Including cabinet for towels and small articles. You could have a small break by the chair.
and the Rack is used for holding things such as shampoo in the bath-tub

It can afford to put some flowers on the cabinet.
Not only wall and floor but everything unified to be monotone.
One piece of painting and dark-green flowers brings brilliant colors.

You could feel something like that it makes more brighten on day time.

Next, please look at another picture which you might spend a time on there before sleep.

At the dusk, Sunshine get in through the double-hung window. and
Incandescent light bulb vividly illuminate the pedestal.

A bathtub also contrast well with brightness of downlight.
then,
These effort shows indirect lighting real ability.

It’s the greatest sense of that create a difference visual impact both active time and slow time.
By the way,
all of those products are from Neptune Co. Canada.
Of course, you’ll never get those products from a house-maker except the Home-Made Co.

The Mirror Wall Cabinet Has Been Rare

This is one of the houses showcasing our work in Kariya city.

And it was partly designed by one of our female staff.
When she joined our company, she was a new graduate, so she needed to be trained from the very beginning.
I'm sure that she had to study really hard and had some tough times back then.

The cabinet and counter in the washroom was designed by her. Actually, I had to ask her to redesign it many times until we can could share the design with the client.
And then, we had some meetings with the client for the final design.

It was made by natural color oak and we put a pure white counter on it.

The imported cabinet and counter are custom-built and there weren't any other choices. It shows the brightness and cleanliness, and I think it also express the atmosphere of the customer.
And then, she used a dolphin shaped faucet. It's easy to imagine that children love to use it. About the mirror, fortunately there was a medicine cabinet in our stock, which perfectly fits to the room.

The medicine cabinet is quite useful for putting goods away around the washbasin like toothbrushes, or cosmetics, and so on, but recently it has been rare in North America. And what I hope is this kind of old design loved by every generations.

I really would recommend especially for Japanese people who prefer to use storage, in addition there is a function of the mirror! It will make washbasin keep clean.

Grandma's home was imaged. - Mr. M's house

Added a new work, Mr. M's house in my web page of Work Introduction. The house plan is based on feng shui conception and Japanese retro design in Showa period. Foe this House, while we asked a master the opinion of feng shui, we were planning the floor and exterior design.

Considering the features and usability, it is often not ideal. But we finally achieved this to use every device.

At exterior wall we installed Stucco Flex that combines durability and flexibility as a cladding material. And we installed asphalt shingle roofing with 30 years warranty on the roof.

The interior conception is the house where the owner's wife had visited a grandmother in her childhood. It can also be sticking to this even a new building. Please check the details in the page, Grandma's home was imaged. - Mr. M's house. If you want to see the video, please check the video of Mr. M's house.

Asian influences

Recently I received a consultation from a customer who wants to build a house with decor inspired by Bali, Indonesia.

It is still planning roughly, so that I do not know whether we can do it together or not. However, I would like to introduce the design to you a little.

In North America, it is no doubt that Asian decor which includes Japanese is one design trend.

As for Southeast Asia, including Bali, I think there's almost a longing for a distant country in North America.

The theme of the interior is "Asian Aesthetics of simplicity, serenity and harmony".

Unique items that are placed there are produced now.

Famous manufacturers produce some bronze coloured faucets and a bamboo-shaped faucet. Bronze colour appears old time and bamboo design echoes the peace and serenity found in nature.

In North America gold or silver colour in faucet has been in popular, it has been turned into something a little less glitz like satin nickel colour.

In Japan, when we look for the ethnic products, we must rely on imports from Southeast Asia, but in North America there are a lot of manufacturers which have designed products by themselves.

Of course, in fact, some manufacturers are placed for producing in China because of low wages, but quality control and inspection, design centers have been remained in home country.

In Japan houses become the same design. When a modern design becomes in fashion, all major home builder builds it with modern and simple design without exception.

"Fashion = profitable" "Same fashion = safe". They are a nature of Japanese.

People who want to express your individuality with Asian influences are always under stress, because major housing companies cannot reply to their demand.

(If Asian influences become popular, the companies would build homes with only Asian influences.)

In any event, the Japanese House design fashion has been delayed in several years and I think that Japan is an underdeveloped country in the wealth of home building.

Classical cute vanity faucet at Mr. Y’s house in Nisshin city

We set this lavatory faucet. Japanese major manufactures don’t make many cosy vanities set for narrow space. We have ever dealt with many Japanese ones, but I never found best ones: sometimes it was too big and sometimes design was not good…
This faucet’s tap and distributing pipe of rusty bronze-look are nice. The white valve lever creates comfortable mood, too.
A planter hanger made of pine wood supports the counter plate of pine, and also looks good with the floor tiles.
The carpentry work takes quite longer but the faucet becomes a pretty good point for your house.

Helena

This manufacturer uses Greek goddess name to their products.
Today I’d like to show you a rectangle bathtub. Square shape is usual in Japan, but it is equipped with jets. It is 1.8m long and bigger than Japanese tubs.
Joyful wave design is engineered inside the tub. A shower is installed on the bathtub in the picture, but most of Japanese might not like to try it. Those who like it are challengers.
It looks coooool!!

F52-2618CW Vanity Faucet

This Canadian vanity faucet is irresistibly attractive for golf-lovers.

It’ spout is formed into a golf driver and there are balls on the top of the handles.

Moreover, the pop – up to shift the plughole has taken its form of a tee with a ball on the head.

It will make you enthusiastic to begin a wonderful golf day.

Catch a glimpse of a little daintiness.

Hampton Kitchen Faucet

The most popular colour for westren style houses in Japan is the gold.

A brilliant golden tap will give you some romantic impressions, recently, in North America, they have tended to chromes, looked like silver, or nickel, liked brushed old silver.

So it’s been harder to find a golden kitchen faucet in North America.

Because of its features, the long spout and the handles in crosses, it brings the good old days.

A pull-out spray faucet is equipped on the right. Push the button on the head, so as to shift from the tap to the spray faucet, and vice versa. The built-in hose allows stretching the head.

Your conformability in the kitchen will be increased dramatically.

Milano Series PS-1418

These last years, in North-America, nickel looking faucets have become popular. This faucet is one of them. The North-American residential trend arrives in Japan a couple of years later.

It’s true that this current is general in the design and architectural markets. Actually, they say, the 5 years-olden Italian models come to Japan.

Well-tended brushed nickel colour creates stately and premium atmosphere.

Canadian common colours for levers are very variety and you can find the one for you. Chose a colour that perfectly matches your home.

Nice horse!

Dolphin shaped water faucets are shown on my website, and now, it’s a horse shaped. The levers have a look of tales. One of my acquaintance loves horses so much. Once I show him this, he'll feel a burning desire to have it.

There are a lot of interesting designed faucets in Canada. Canadian people have their great sense of fun, and it can be a source of richness in life.

We have had no customer yet who has chosen this faucet; you may be the first person who gets it! Be unique, be the one!

Show you our works by pictures and movie. If you want to see actual ones, please check the work introduction on my website.

Country sink 7048301 490

These last years, Canadian prefers natural taste. Their designs are inspired in the nature, for example, a bamboo is transfigured in a spout.

These Canadian trends I’m going to introduce later. Today, it’s about the return to the old country.

Now, in North America there are some major faucet manufactures and they produce mainly kitchen sinks in country style. It’s surprise that the major manufactures are the most ones.

You’ll enjoy on this vanity. if you are a big fun of country style. Though, there might be few people in Japan who will take it into their modern life. Western cultures keep their variety. The other way, in Japan, we just follow only one pattern.

No Japanese kitchen unit manufactures install this kind of sink, so the only way to get it is making your order to a foreign kitchen manufacture.

“Making a custom order” sounds “cost”, but custom order is major in North America and you need fewer than you think.

The price can also be a part of culture.

Swan Faucet

A customer read our blog and made an order for a swan formed faucet. She liked more the tranquil one, although the product on the article of the blog was golden. So, this excellent silver swan has been discovered. Two levers are formed into swan heads and the neck of central is feathered.

Western people must like this elaborate design. His flyway to me was also complicated: changing designs, a reply about its discontinuance, long time eagerly waiting for its arrival…

Once the credit is slipped in, this bird will take wings again and leave me. Just now, we enjoy ourselves watching the swan.

There may mot be another swan faucet in Japan. I hope him to be taken under the wings of our customers.

Kitchen shower faucet KC-1408CH

Recently, there have been few one-lever faucets in Japan. In Canada, where the two - lever is common yet, the one-lever is getting popular.

Is the one-lever type really necessary? The answer is “No”. The reason is that a temperature controller is installed in the water heater and you should be free from the stress against adjusting the temperature with a handle by yourself.

This faucet is a built-in shower type. A button is asset on the top of the faucet to shift the ways between the general water out let and the shower. The round head has realized a comfortable and fashionable grip.

Some domestic spray faucets are available nowadays but I hope they could produce a little bit more variety.

Ceramic valve is naturally used for this product which is stable for semi permanently.

The kitchen – Mr. Y’s house

We, Japanese, prefer golden faucets for western style houses rather. However, recently, in North America, chrome, “silver”, is major. We felt clean and simple from “silver”.

Mr. Y has chosen a chrome faucet and you may get a classical impression of it. It’s amazing that the combination of the imported white enamelled sink and the decoration of 100mm tile kitchen counter get lots class together.

The wrought-iron light matches it. The customers are using this. It may be no exaggeration to say that the interior is coordinated based on this light.

If there is a base of design first, it could help you realize a nicer house.

Kitchen Faucet K1320CWG

This faucet was demonstrated at the exhibition of Mr. K’s house in Chita city, and it will be set in his house.

The design is classic in North America: long neck spout, the levers separated in two: the one is for cold water and the other is for hot water, and the mount plate being combining the two main parts.

A lot of people who like imported houses may love a faucet like this. Its polished chrome colour for the hole of this product let feel cleanliness, and the glossy brass reflects gorgeousness. In addition, the white colour of the levers is lovely.

Japanese products are mainly one lever of chrome.Because, it is trouble-free to adjust the temperature. It’s easy but less funny.

Completed kitchen pictures will be shown later. Everyone feels great when they see these beautiful parts.

Vanity Faucet FS-724SS-CP

This vanity faucet is a compact type; the gaps between the levers for cold and hot water are only 4 inches (ca. 10cm). The spout and the levers are combined, and you make fewer problems to clean up. The product with the gaps of more than 8 inc. is also available. It’ll be introduced another time.

The feature of this faucet is all the lever design. The white lever mounts and the polished chrome are good combination for the cleanliness. Also the scroll designed levers projects tenderness.

Behind the spout there is the pop-up stopper giving it a beautiful form.

Lift & Turn Drain

“Lift & Turn Drain”, it may sound strange. This is a drain for a drain outlet on a vanity bowl. It is capped on the top to stop water flowing.

The latest Japanese taste tends to the switching pop up type: the outlet valve is controlled with a switch. In the past where the people had no convenient product like this, a tap or rubber cap were the usual ways to cover the outlet.

Now many vanity faucets have the pop up style. On the other hand, some manufactures keep the old style.

So the “Lift & Turn Drain” is on. Turn and hitch up the button on the top, then the cock is fixed.

It may be a little bit classic, but, interesting, isn’t it? Such a simple type feels more stable.

There are less and less faucets like this one in Japan.
